Ixora chinensis: Ixora ‘Petite’ Dwarf

-Light Exposure: Full Sun
-Water Req: Medium
-Height: 2 – 4 ft.
-Growth Rate: Slow

Ixora is a beautiful, low-maintenance shrub consisting of dense foliage and large, rounded clusters of  yellow or reddish-orange flowers. The small leaves are similar to those of a boxwood. An evergreen perennial that thrives in hot, humid weather, the Ixora Plant blooms year-round in South Florida and grows best with full sun and well drained soil. Dwarf Ixora is commonly used as flowering hedge, but also works great in container pots or as an accent plant.   For best appearance, fertilize Dwarf Ixora 3 times per year in spring, summer and fall with a quality granular fertilizer and supplement feedings with bonemeal or liquid fertilizer for increased blooms.
